This work is organized around strategies for rendering visual experience as a means to disassemble preconceptions. It is about creating unpredictable spaces for actively witnessing the manufacture of reality through processes of disorienting and reorienting perception. In this work, seeing is understood to be a physical act of creation, a product of imagination in real time. The futures of this work are in development through integrations of extended reality (XR) technology as hybrid physical/digital artworks, installations, and new media experiences.
